Blogger Marketing Concept & Tips

Sheressa Hill 06/14/2013

The Review

Writing a review for this article would most likely prove to be as painful as the read, and I would venture to guess, the author may have intended it that way. Why? Most likely, not to outshine the concept that brought me to read in the first place, and more importantly has me blogging about it. If I am off base here, then my advise to the author, by Robert Wan, Guerilla Marketing Asian,  is to consider applying the "uh, your right. I meant to do that, duh!" response, and save face.

The Blogger Marketing Affiliate Concept

I am fairly certain this guy knows exactly what he is doing, judging by is blogging affiliate program that you are a part of "as we speak". The concept is simple, cost effective, offers mutual benefit, and up to this point, an are are of deception for company gain at the joining parties expense has yet to be discovered. Do not worry, if it there, I will discover it!

Simple is Sometimes Better; 3 Basic Tips

Spend a moment to find a new blog that peaks interest, or dig up an old favorite. Contact the author, and ask them to review an article on your blog and offer the same in return. Here are my suggestions:

     1.  Add link to your Blog in when you contact prospective affiliate, and I strongly suggest that you leave the choice of article to be reviewed be left to the person writing the review! This will allow for better reviews, because they will pick one that is familiar, or easy for them to write about, or one they truly enjoyed. As you can see, by Mr. Wan choosing the article for me, I was unable to produce as expected, and a little bothered by the length and meaty content. This is not a good impression.

     2. Use a short to the point form for your partners to submit the URL of their reviews, and I think it is best to anchor it in the side bar, followed by an invitation for your readers to join in a partnership. Remember, this method is not limited to only blogging, it can be tweaked to fit anything pretty much any affiliations needs.

     3. Most important of the three, is to produce as promised! This will make or break the success of your affiliate plan. This is not as hard as you may think, especially when everything happens at once, and time plays against you. The solution here, is not to over-extend yourself, period! If it usually takes you one day to read an article, write and submit a review, then be sure to give yourself three to five. Most would understand the room the left for error, long before they would being faced with the error itself.
